Trial in the minor girl rape case allegedly involving Revenue Minister Atanasio Monserrate resumed before the Special Judge Irshad Agha on Tuesday with cross examination of the victim girl.
Leading Mumbai-based Criminal defense attorney S Pasbola represented the Revenue Minister before the court.
Sources informed that the proceedings, which are conducted in camera, saw the cross examination of the victim girl. The cross examination of the victim girl was partly recorded in the morning session and again the evening session.
The cross examination of the victim girl was adjourned and will now take place on Wednesday morning.
The state is represented by Public Prosecutor V G Costa.
