Returning Officer for the Margao Municipal Council election, Jyoti Kumari, has said that candidates will be required to file fresh security deposits along with their nomination papers.
She said though many a candidate had filed their security deposits along with their nomination papers last time round, they will be required to file a fresh deposit since the entire process is being held afresh.
The Returning Officer, however, said that the candidates, who had filed their nomination papers last time around, can apply for the refund of their deposit with the office of the RO.
