Newly-elected MLAs Vijai Sardesai and Ulhas Tuenkar joined the Holi revellers in celebrating the festival of colours in their respective constituencies on Friday.
Sardesai, with his wife Usha and others, offered prayers at the Lord Damodar Temple at Fatorda before joining the Holi celebrations.
In a brief message at the occasion, Sardesai has called for unity amongst the people.
At Shantinagar in Navelim constituency, newly-elected Navelim MLA Ulhas Tuemkar, along with BJP workers, joined the Holi celebrations organized by a group of people from the State of Rajasthan.
The first-time MLA took the occasion to reassure the community that he and the BJP would always extend their help and assistance to address their problems.
