New kidnapping case in Margao; missing boys found in UP

Even as the Margao police have traced the whereabouts of the two kidnapped minor boys from Navelim in Uttar Pradesh, another case of kidnapping has been registered ” this time involving a minor girl from Navelim.
In his complaint, the brother of the minor girl, a resident of Navelim, stated that some unknown persons kidnapped his minor sister from their residence at Navelim on November 20 from his lawful guardianship without her consent. In this connection, the Margao police have registered an FIR under Section 137(2) of BNS 2023 and Section 8(2) of the Goa Children’s Act.
Meanwhile, the Margao police have said that they have traced the location of the two minor boys kidnapped from Moddi“Navelim in Uttar Pradesh.
In a statement on the kidnapping of the two minor brothers, the police said that during the course of the investigation, a surveillance team was formed under the supervision of PI Suraj Samant, Margao Town PS. While ground teams conducted thorough searches across KTC Bus Stand and Railway Station, Margao and other parts of Goa, the technical surveillance worked round the clock and traced the minor boys.
Further, during the course of the investigation, human intelligence and technical surveillance were used, and both minor boys were traced in Uttar Pradesh on November 21.
The investigation of the case was conducted by PSI Sanjay Velip under the guidance of PI Suraj Samant and the supervision of SDPO Margao, Sidhant U Shirodkar, and the overall supervision of SP South, Tikam Singh Verma.
