The National Investigation Agency (NIA) Jharkhand questioned a 14-year-old student the entire day on Wednesday, during which his electronic devices were confiscated. The move comes as a part of an investigation that raised suspicions about the teenager’s activities.
The student, originally from Lucknow but residing in Usgao-Ponda for more than ten years, has been summoned again for further questioning, as per the sources.
“During the raid on Wednesday, two mobile phones, SIM cards, and a pen drive were confiscated. His social media accounts have also been temporarily suspended,” the source revealed.
The details of the investigation have been kept confidential although it is learnt that suspected anti-national activities could have brought the teenager under scrutiny.
The NIA team had sought assistance from the Ponda police in terms of manpower and logistics for their inquiry in the State.
