One booked for threatening lady cop, preventing her from doing duty

A Lady PSI attached to the Maina Curtorim police station has complained that she was allegedly wrongfully restrained and prevented from serving notice/summons thereby obstructing public servant in discharge of public functions and lawful duty.

PSI Veronica Coutinho, in  her complained has alleged that she had gone to the office of at Fatorda to serve notice issued by the JMFC, Quepem when she was allegedly insulted by Tanmay Talak to get out of the office.

She further alleged that the alleged accused threatened her by attempting to snatch her mobile phone from her hand while she was trying to record the incident and further prevented service of Notice/Summons thereby obstructing public servant in discharge of public functions and lawful duty.

The Fatorda police has registered a case under section 352, 351, 126(2), 132, 221, 207 and sec 62 of BNS.
