The Education department has ordered suspension of all physical academic work until April 30 in a circular issued on Thursday.
Due to the spike in Covid-19 cases the circular said all offline, that is, physical classes in institutions functioning under the Directorate of Education have been suspended till April 30.
The order, however, mandates teaching and non-teaching staff to continue attending work by following the Covid specific SOPs.
Also, online classes can continue wherever necessary, according to the circular issued by officiating Director of Education D R Bhagat.
