The Rs 10-odd crore multi-level parking project proposed by the Margao Municipal Council will have parking provisions for only 70 four-wheelers and 137 two-wheelers. As per the parking plan designed by the GSUDA-appointed consultant, vehicular parking has been proposed on the ground floor as well as on the first four floors, with no parking proposal on the top fifth floor.
The ground floor of the parking lot is expected to accommodate around 18 four-wheelers. Around 13 four-wheelers each will be housed on the remaining four floors, sources said. The ground floor will play host to around 78 two-wheelers, with the remaining two-wheelers to be accommodated on the remaining floors.
