SANGUEM

Unseasonal rain lashed remote villages such as Villian and Bhati in Sanguem on Thursday evening, catching residents off guard and disrupting routine movement.

The sudden downpour in the late evening left many people stranded on their way home from work, as they were unprepared for the rain. Several commuters were seen taking shelter as the showers intensified unexpectedly.

The rain was accompanied by strong winds, causing concern among villagers. However, no major damage was reported, apart from minor losses to agricultural plantations in some areas.

Despite the brief disruption, the unseasonal rainfall brought some relief to villagers by lowering temperatures and easing the intense summer heat in the region.
