OLD GOA
Stating that rising fuel prices will not have any impact on the poll prospects of BJP, Union Minister Shripad Naik said the people are aware that it is happening due to g lobal prices. “Rise in oil prices happened during the rules of all governments. There won’t be any impact on BJP as the people understand because the rates are not decided by the Centre or the States. It depends on global prices,” Naik informed reporters on the sidelines of a function at Old Goa.
To another question on tourists not following SOPs in Goa, Naik informed that precaution needs to be taken till November 15, when everything will open up. “The situation has neutralised, but if it worsens, it will become a problem,” he added.
