Former Maharashtra chief minister and Rajya Sabha MP Narayan Rane on Tuesday, who is tipped to be included in the cabinet at the Centre, said he could not comment on any cabinet post that may be offered to him in the expected cabinet expansion.
Rane was speaking to reporters while leaving for the national capital from Goa Airport on Tuesday afternoon.
"As far as the cabinet post is concerned, I cannot comment right now as I am not aware. I can only speak after I reach Delhi and things are clear, after which I can comment," said Rane.
Rane was accompanied by his wife, Neelam, as he left for Delhi on Tuesday afternoon.
According to sources, Rane is likely to be included in the cabinet during the expansion in the Modi Government expected on Wednesday.
Sources added Rane had received a call on Monday from BJP National President J P Nadda’s office asking him to report to Delhi urgently.
