Cyber Crime Police Station on Wednesday arrested one person for cyberstalking and bullying a school teacher.
As per the complaint received by the Cyber Cell on December 30, 2020, one person is making obscene video calls to the complainant and sharing pornographic images. It was causing her great mental trauma.
After thorough investigation, despite several attempts by the accused to disguise his identity, Cyber Crime police under PI Vishwesh Karpe and PSI Sarvesh Sawant identified the accused as Ibrahim Ahmed Khatik, a resident of Miraj, Sangli.
A team led by PSI Sarvesh Sawant was dispatched to Sangli where accused Ahmed was nabbed.
