Host Marc Caterers edged past JCT Nagoa 1-0 to march into the quarter-final of Marc Caterers Veterans football tournament, at Old Mardol, Verna ground, on Wednesday.
Both the teams were locked goalless in the first half. Both had equal number of scoring chances but their forwards missed scoring chances.
In the second half, Martin Pereira struck the match winner off Marcus Carvalho pass for Marc Caterers.
