SFX Row: Goans protest at Wembley against Ex Goa RSS Chief

Panaji: Over 250 Goans gathered at Wembley Central Station in the UK to protest against former Goa RSS Chief Subhash Velingkar’s controversial remark on St. Francis Xavier. 


The protest brought together members of the Goan diaspora living abroad and those back home, raising concern and demanding action.


The crowd condemned Velingkar’s remarks as hurtful and disrespectful. Many protestors called for his immediate arrest and prosecution under the law. They raised their voices, expressing their strong feelings about the issue and demanding accountability.


They highlighted the importance of respecting cultural and religious sentiments, urging officials to respond promptly to protect the dignity of St. Francis Xavier and the feelings of the Goan community.
