Anjuna Police on Tuesday registered an FIR against a Siolim resident for allegedly failing to submit the mandatory online ‘C-form’ details of a foreign national staying at his premises, in violation of the Immigration and Foreigners Act, 2025.

According to the police, the case came to light following a complaint filed by PSI Ramesh Harijan attached to Anjuna Police Station.

The complaint stated that between August 18 and October 29, the accused, Kamlakant Banaulikar (56), a resident of Oxel, Siolim had rented out his premises to Jude Boussari (44), a national of Cameroon, without transmitting the foreigner’s details online to the Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO), Panaji.

The lapse amounts to a violation of the provisions under the Immigration and Foreigners Act, officials said.

Based on the complaint, Anjuna Police registered an offence under Section 23(b) of the Immigration and Foreigners Act, 2025.
