The Goa Suraksha Manch on Friday said the Supreme Court verdict had exposed the government's fraud in the ward reservations for the civic polls.
Speaking to reporters, GSM leader Rajendra Velingkar said the State government had been exposed for the second time, following verdicts by the high court and supreme court.
“The supreme court has upheld the decision of the high court and the big fraud of the government in ward reservations has been exposed," said Velingkar.
"We expect that the government should now declare reservations in a fair manner. We also demand that the state election commissioner be removed immediately and be replaced by a dedicated official who can do justice to his job and to the people of Goa," Velingkar added.
