Senior Vice President of Indian Hotels Company Limited, Vincent Ramos, breathed his last on Wednesday evening leaving a wide circle of family, friends and professional associates in a state of shock.

An upcoming hospitality professional of repute, Ramos had reached the pinnacle of his career when IHCL elevated him to the position of Senior Vice President of the group in May last year.

A son of the soil, Ramos was an amiable personality hailing from Divar. He was an alumni of Institute of Hotel Management, Porvorim.

Meanwhile, The Travel and Tourism Association of Goa (TTAG) president Nilesh Shah has expressed heartfelt condolences over the sudden death of Vincent Ramos, senior vice president IHCL Goa and TTAG managing committee member.

“Vincent Ramos was an invaluable part of the TTAG managing committee; a great friend, an inspiring mentor, a dependable colleague, and an all-around lovely human being. We express our deepest condolences to his family and friends from all of us at the TTAG,” stated TTAG president Nilesh Shah, adding, “It is a very sad news. Vincent was a great support to our industry. His contribution during Covid times is unforgettable. He was full of positive energy and ever ready to help. I don't remember him ever saying no to any of TTAG's request. We all will miss him. We pray for his ‘Atma Shanti’ and eternal peace.”
