Technology plays key role in language learning: Rohan Khaunte

PORVORIM
Cabinet Minister Rohan Khaunte has said technology plays an important role in every aspect of people, adding that it is also crucial to language learning throughout the world at all levels.

There are many education experts who believe that technology has upgraded the system of education in the world, which is true to some extent,” said Khaunte, while speaking at the concluding function of the 21st Konknni Sahitya Academy in Porvorim.

“But there are many others who believe this advancement in technology also has a bad effect on education. Students are becoming highly dependent on devices to complete their work rather than depending on their own knowledge and this is obviously a negative signal towards the growth of education and humanity in the modern world.”

“Use of technology should make the youth to learn the language in depth, which is possible through Audio Books,” he added.
