Details shared by FRRO said the Australian national, who had been overstaying in India since August 2020, was deported on April 10 following completion of legal and administrative procedures.
Two Russian nationals, who had overstayed since January 2021 and July 2025, respectively, were deported on April 12 after due process.
Since January 2026, FRRO Goa has deported 18 foreign nationals of various nationalities, including six Bangladeshi citizens. In 2025, a total of 120 overstaying foreign nationals were deported or facilitated exit from the country, including 29 Bangladeshi nationals.
Officials reiterated that strict action will continue against foreign nationals found violating visa norms, while assuring that the interests of law-abiding visitors will be protected.
The FRRO also issued an advisory to hotels, guest houses, homestay operators and landlords, directing them to ensure the timely submission of C-Forms for foreign guests. Failure to comply with mandatory reporting requirements or delays in submission will invite legal action, officials warned, stressing the importance of compliance for effective monitoring and national security.
