The Health Department on Monday recorded only 35 cases of Covid-19 out of the 1,181 samples tested in the last 24 hours, the lowest count since the last five months.
The active count has now plunged to 799.
The total confirmed cases now stand at 51,891 of which 50,343 have recovered. The recovery rate stands at 97.02 per cent.
Meanwhile, two Covid-related deaths were recorded in the mortality bulletin raising the total victim count to 749. The deceased persons include a 44 year-old from Pomburpa and a 70 year-old from Davorlim.
