VASCO: Vasco police on Monday carried arrested Rohan Saroj (23) of New Vaddem on charges of possessing 1 ks of ganja worth Rs 1 lakh.
Vasco PI Kapil Nayak said the accused was caught red-handed in a narcotic raid carried out by PSI Rohan Nageshkar near Vaddem Nagar English school.
“We had reliable and specific information and found in his possession 1 kg of dry leafy substance suspected to be Ganja worth Rs 1 lakh. We have registered an offence and arrested him under the NDPS Act,” said PI Nayak.
