Winter stretch continues with foggy mornings, cooler nights

Goa is experiencing a cool yet dry winter stretch, with the India Meteorological Department (IMD) Goa reporting stable easterly winds in the lower atmosphere and morning fog expected through the week.

The IMD’s latest report stated that dry weather prevailed across the State in the past 24 hours. While the Mormugao weather station logged the highest maximum temperature at 33.2°C, Panaji recorded the lowest minimum at 19.2°C.

The forecast also indicates shallow to moderate fog or mist during the morning hours over the next 48 hours. Daytime temperatures are expected to hover around 33°C, with nights settling near 20°C.

A similar pattern is likely to continue till November 24, wherein maximum temperatures will remain between 32°C and 33°C and minimum temperatures will stay in the 20–21°C range from November 18 onward. Humidity levels are expected to peak at around 85 per cent and then dip to about 65 per cent.
