Taking cognisance of the video showing an ambulance driver and MTS staff fighting over the duty of closing the ambulance door, South Goa District Hospital Medical Superintendent Dr Rajendra Borkar has issued a memo to the driver seeking explanation over his conduct.
Incidentally, sources at the district hospital have informed that the same driver had received a memo from the hospital administration some time back over his conduct.
While Dr Borkar confirmed that he has issued a memo to the ambulance driver, he, however, declined to further comment on the matter. Sources, however, said that the district hospital has taken serious note of the conduct of the ambulance driver, saying that it’s the duty of the ambulance driver to close the ambulance door.
