The Congress party in Goa on Saturday filed a complaintagainst two BJP ministers Dayanand Mandrekar and Laxmikant Parsekar in CentralBureau of Investigation (CBI) alleging their role in the drug nexus.
The complaint signed by Goa Pradesh Congress Committee(GPCC) spokesperson Sudip Tamankar says “Only police part is investigated inthe said matter by CBI, let the CBI investigate the role of politicians.”
Tamankar said that he has submitted some documents to thecomplaint copy which will help CBI to investigate in the direction of the complaint.
Mandrekar, who is the BJP legislator representing Siolimconstituency for the third time in the Goa assembly, was also in new in 2010for making the statement on the floor of the assembly house to help drugpeddlers. He has requested the then Home Minister to help one local boy who wasarrested by Mumbai police, claiming he is innocent.
Mandrekar and Parsekar representing Siolim and Mandremconstituencies, known for drug-infested beach villages of Anjuna, Vagator,Morjim and Arambol.
