On taking Costas land back

There are allegations of corruption and kickbacks taken bythe previous government. If the Airports Authority is willing to pay Rs 7000per square metre for this land, I can acquire it back, but it won’t be an easytask. There are practical difficulties. If the previous government had paid theright compensation, the question of de-notifying wouldn’t have arisen

On alternatives

The AAI can ask for some land from the Navy since both arecentral agencies. If I start giving in to every demand, central agencies willbe sitting on all of Goa’s land. This needs to be solved. As far reacquiringCosta’s land is concerned, I have made my position clear.
