Indoco’s Goa plant gets UK-MHRA approval

Indoco Remedies Limited, received approval from the Regulatory body, UK-MHRA for its solid dosages manufacturing facility in Goa (Plant I).

A press release issued by the company informs that this approval is the outcome of the inspection conducted in December 2016. “The Plant contributes to 40 per cent of our international business,” states the press release.  
In the press release, Managing Director, Indoco Remedies Limited, Aditi Panandikar claims that the approval from UK-MHRA for their Goa solid dosages facility will provide further impetus to their existing efforts in the European region.   
This is the sixth time the Goa Plant I has successfully received UK-MHRA approval since 2003, thereby confirming Indoco’s consistent adherence to international standards and practices.

Onion prices hit a new low

Rates of most vegetables on Friday remained stable as compared to last week and are expected to retain stability due to unseasonal rains. rnThe rates of onion, however, continued to crash.

BELAGAVI: Due to rise in supplies from Maharashtra and north Karnataka region, onion that used to cost anything between Rs 600 to Rs 1000 has crashed to below Rs 500 to Rs 800 per quintal, due to which the retail rates too have considerably reduced. Onion costs as low as Rs 7 to Rs 10 per kilo in the retail market-- a fact that is expected to impact rates in the Goa vegetable market as well.
