Vishnu Wagh: What I said is the accused may be known toheadmistress. Also the headmistress failed to behave responsibly as the head ofthe institution when the incident was reported. Her first duty was to call 108,who would have informed the police and they would have acted quickly. Timelyaction would have been taken. Also although the matter came to light at 10.55am, all teachers of the school were kept in the dark. She made a mistake by nottaking action on the person whom she encountered earlier in the day. She reactedcasually.
TG: The police have also confirmed that the headmistress’son had also been questioned. Do you think he is the accused?
VW: I don’t want to comment on this, but what I feel is theschool management should also be held responsible besides the headmistress.
TG: Why is it taking so much time to arrest the accused?
VW: The delay in reporting the matter made things difficult,as crucial time was lost and now it has become a blind case.
