This year, cashew nut production is not all that good due to which cashew cultivators are worried. While the cultivators are staring at losses, those into making feni are also facing bleak times.
The other worrying factor is the monkeys who destroy cashew crops. The population of monkeys has increased. The elected members haven’t bothered to look into this aspect by raising the issue in the Assembly.
