At the ongoing Goa Assembly Sessions, there were some cases of Goa's elected representatives/MLAs being absent. It is acceptable in case of extreme family or other emergencies, but surely it is not acceptable for a senior Goa Minister to be absent on excuse of meeting his BJP leaders in Delhi. Let me remind the respective Minister (who had the audacity to say it is not the concern of the house that he was out of Goa and in Delhi on business/political affairs) that the Assembly sessions are extremely important for Goans particularly tax paying citizens who are the priority; and not these Goa ministers/BJP leaders in Delhi who are public servants and hence have lesser priority versus the voters of Goa. Is this minister also implying that in addition to him, that his senior BJP leaders that he met in Delhi also do not have respect for the Goa Assembly sessions?
