This so called proposal of bars giving their drunken patrons a taxi lift back home doesn't specify which type of vehicle drivers need such free drops back home. A clearer road map as to what type of vehicle, area of jurisdiction, time duration , there will be liabilities of accidents occurring to vehicles left on road sides till the time the owner takes possession of his or her vehicle. This novel idea of the transport minister could run into an immature death if all criteria are not fulfilled. A prolonged study needs to be carried out first into its feasibility and then implemented. People would like to cooperate when they are benefited with a free and safe drop back home. Another drawback would be parking space shortage at any given bar for cabbies who would line up on the roads hoping to get hired by these bar owners to ferry their clients. People on the other hand would tend to drink all the more and spend more time with friends when they know such facilities exist. Hoping implementation of this drunk cablifts proposal sees the light of day as many stakeholders will be benefited.
