The Governor PS Sreedharan Pillai is the head of the State and cannot shirk his responsibilities. Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has been submitting compliances to the Centre which are false, making a mockery of the citizens.
First, he reported that Goa is Open Defecation Free: reports in the media have proven this wrong. Next, he says that every house in Goa has a tap: once again the media reported otherwise. Further, the ‘Har Ghar Jal..’ objective is to provide safe drinking water 24x7: here the water is neither safe to drink as is nor available even for part of the day. On this Independence Day, the BJP MLAs conducted a motorcycle rally without helmets and the Goa Traffic Police says they are unaware of this?The Governor cannot pretend to be unaware of all these happenings and shirk his responsibilities.
