Traffic police should act against 'dangerous acts' on the roads

A video clip being circulated on social media shows a woman sitting on the bonnet of a moving car on a Goan road. The woman was obviously a tourist and the video may have been taken by a person occupying another car moving by the side. At times it is observed that a tourist who is riding a rent-a-bike vehicle, has a woman, who is a pillion rider, sitting facing the back of the scooter. It is observed that many a time children as well as adults keep themselves popped out from the sun roof.  These acts in a moving car can prove dangerous for the occupants of the vehicles as well other road users. Sudden braking can throw those sitting in dangerous positions off balance and onto the road with disastrous consequences. These dangerous acts on the roads are obviously against the traffic rules and the traffic cops need to be very strict against the violators. Occupants of the vehicles indulging in such dangerous acts need to be penalized for endangering the lives of self and others.
