Politicians as a rule have axes to grind .The Dept of Education has directed school managements to open accounts with a private bank. It seems like the government is bent upon strangulation of its own nationalised banks. In fact the hidden exorbitant charges and rules are anti-customer and against common account holders. The salaries are currently directly credited into individual accounts in nationalised banks branches and not in any existing private banks. Technically it is full proof system for the benefit of employes. This private bank also does not have widespread presence in villages. Even pensions are disbursed through nationalised banks. The government can easily attempt this change with their own employees and teachers. Besides work and expenses in opening of new accounts can be best avoided. Someone is benefiting by forcing this illogical inconvenience on all concerned.
