It is very shameful to note that the premises of Goa's most prestigious hub of music and cultural activities, Kala Academy is infested with stray dogs.
One sees canines on the stairs, in the corridors, on the lawns, in the courtyards...why even in the ground floor art gallery. These are a danger to people attending various programmes and workshops. There have been cases of dog bites in the recent past too.
Who exactly is responsible for this sad state of affairs? The sarkar should take note and set things right. Charles Correa's magnum opus has literally gone to the dogs.
