Kadamba bus on Saligao route should be scrapped

A driver of a Kadamba bus bearing registration no. GAO3 - X-0133 reportedly lost control and veered off the said vehicle in a nearby field on the Saligao-Parra road. Around 8 passengers were present in the bus during the said freak accident but luckily no injuries were reported.

Well, the one thing I know about the above mentioned Kadamba bus is that it is badly maintained, having no proper head-lights, no brakes, screen wipers, water leaking everywhere during the monsoons. Unfortunately, the same bus despite of having so many serious problems has been deliberately allowed to ply on our Saligao route and to give service for office-goers/old people going to Mapusa, Panaji, Calangute etc since the last many years. I think that the KTCL management should decide to put some good EV buses on this particular Saligao route instead of allowing the above unfit Kadamba bus (which actually needs to be scrapped immediately) to still ply on the above route and risk people's lives & to cause more of such freak self accidents in Goa.

They start building houses on government…
