In Goa, the Kadamba Transport Corporation has started bus shuttle service in most of the cities. On Tuesday, January 24, from 3:30 pm on the Mapusa to Panaji route, the shuttle bus service was not available. When I asked when the bus would arrive from the ticket counter in Panaji, I was told that the bus had just left. When I asked again, when the bus would arrive, I was told that it would arrive in half an hour. Even after half an hour, there was no sign of the bus. When I went to ask at the ticket counter again, they said that the bus is not available on the route and the reason given was that the buses are stuck due to the construction of Porvorim flyover . The landline phone of the Kadamba Transport Corporation was switched off. The reason why the Kadamba shuttle bus service was not available on the Mapusa to Panaji route was unclear. The ticket counter staff did not have any specific answer. The KTC staff should provide public correct information not keep the passengers waiting by giving partial information.
