Development for us means concretisation. Man is now rampantly destroying nature, polluting the oceans and rivers with effluents that are synthetic and unbiodegradable. There is rampant overfishing that is destroying our marine life. Concretisation has led to people owning more artificially build structures in the form of four, five and even six homes that are left mostly uninhabited. The call and lure of the wild are now being damaged by unhindered so-called development. The sustainability of the eco-system needs protection and should be preserved and well balanced if we are to control global warming as a result of the burning of fossil fuels. We are running out of time and if we do not act now, the earth will become an uninhabitable heap of concrete with less natural cover. Only man can change the course of this planet by protecting the flora and fauna.
