Misleading people about Goa's coal future

Members of Goyant Kolso Naka (GKN) on Wednesday have accused Chief Minister Pramod Sawant of lying about Goa's coal future by presenting a cache of official documents that, they said proved the State and Central governments are actively enabling a large-scale expansion of coal handling and transportation through the state. At a press conference in Margao, the GKN members displayed environmental clearances, government approval letters and project files to back their charge that multiple coal-related projects are moving forward to counter the Chief Minister's verbal statement of Monday saying that coal handling will not increase even by a single tonne. Now, isn't this enough proof to show that CM is playing a double game with Goans over the issue of coal? Is this politician been elected as Goa's CM for this very sole purpose to slowly turn this state into a permanent coal hub and to destroy Goa by fully backing the transportation of coal? Goans should therefore vote out such politicians at the very earliest.
