Old people have more wisdom; the young can learn from them

We are so busy in life that we forget to notice the important people around us. First and foremost our parents are slowly turning old and weak. They need our attention, love and support and not the least our precious time. When we were small they fulfilled all our needs. So now it time to repay that love and care showered on us when we were young. Now we are young and strong, but one day we too will become old and weak. It is our duty to be with our old loved ones not only because they are becoming weak. More reason to be with them because they have so much knowledge and experiences that they are always ready to share. At this stage of their life, they really want someone with whom they can talk to and express themselves. Old age does not mean life comes to a pause. It is the most beautiful stage every human being will have to pass through. When Buddha sat under a tree he was enlightened and compared old people to the tree of knowledge and wisdom. Always remember to respect, love and care for them. In the pandemic many old people were bedridden and there was no one to take care of them. We must also ensure that they are vaccinated against the virus.
