There had been power load fluctuations in the area for a long time. With this upgrade, the problem is expected to be resolved. People are also grateful to the local panchayat ward member, Julius D’Souza, for his support.
As per standard procedures in Goa, such work is usually carried out by the Electricity Department, which strengthens infrastructure, installs 11/0.433 KV distribution transformer centres and manages 3-phase residential connections. The department regularly takes up projects to improve the reliability of the power supply, including adding new transformers and 11 KV lines in areas with high demand.
Where higher capacity is required, the department provides 3-phase supply and installs transformers to support local development. This step shows proper attention to the needs of residents.
