Social worker's generosity shines this festive season

Recently Goa saw a rise in price of coconuts to Rs 60 and the government decided to make it available @Rs 45.The sudden rise in prices during festive season of Ganesh Chaturthi is a big blow to middle class. The Goa government recently passed a bill on legalising houses constructed on government and comunidade land and is gift for festive season. The question is also raised on practicality of said rules of "Majhe Ghar" and it's implications. However we read about a social worker Yogesh Kelkar in Mapusa city giving coconuts @₹2  and is doing the same for last five years. He also helps during other  festive seasons by giving essential commodities at negligible price. If a social worker can give coconuts at such price why government could not do is the question. All the opposition and party with coconut as symbol could not afford to do it. The conclusion is social service and common man's requirement and one needs not be politician for the purpose. The true service lies in solutions to problems faced by common man . One person could do what 40 individuals could not do together.
