This poses a serious threat to the safety and well-being of our children. Moreover, shops near these educational institutions are openly selling gutka, tobacco products, and even promoting matka gambling, despite notices warning against tobacco use. It is disheartening that government authorities have failed to take strict action against these violations. Even more concerning are reports of police officials allegedly accepting “hafta” from these shop owners, allowing illegal activities to continue unchecked. The government must take immediate and stringent measures to stop the illegal licensing of such businesses near schools and colleges. The police must also uphold their duty to protect citizens and not support lawbreakers. The safety and future of our children depend on your prompt and decisive action.
