This is with reference to the report, "Rahul Gandhi sets out Cong's Bharat Jodo yatra - The Goan Everyday, September 8." The Bharat Jodo campaign launched by the Congress with Rahul Gandhi leading the show, may be a good initiative in the present uneasy, uncertain scenario in the country. The campaign is grabbing eyeballs and Sonia Gandhi, the Congress president is hoping it will rejuvenate the party. All good intentions yes, but how far they will succeed, is a big question mark. There is no doubt that unity of our country is of prime importance. There is a need for all opposition parties to come together to tackle important issues. But, this is just not happening. On the contrary, we have several opposition fronts, pulling in different directions. As far as the Congress' campaign is concerned, someone rightly commented, they should first unite the party, which incidentally, is facing defections every other day.
