An intolerant new type of democracy

It is reported that the CM has assured the mining lobby that auctionning of mining leases by the Goa Mineral Development Corporation will begin from next month, and reportedly will not give information under RTI because someone may go to court against it! Futher he laments that no one has filed cases against the persons filing cases against the government.

All such statements such as refusing info under RTI laws, those filing cases against government  should be targeted is anti-democratic? The BJP government appears to, in general, have no respect for democracy wanting to anyhow impose its will, since it is in the majority! Pawan Varma, former diplomat, writer and Rajya Sabha member says that Taliban in the name of Islam enslaves women, while the fanatical Hindu counterpart showing intolerence in society seemingly with government patronage, has similar notions as can be seen in the advertisement promotions by big reputed brands being forced to roll back their imaginative ad campaigns of inclusivity due to bullying tactics of a few persons with rigid opinions. This dangerous trend of imposing one’s will and growing intolerance is a regressive and dangerous trend!
