A senior official of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has reportedly very recently cautioned the State unit of the BJP that the number of party tickets to be given to Catholics at the 2022 Assembly elections must be drastically slashed.
This official who looks after the functioning of the RSS in Gujarat, Maharashtra and Goa was here on a visit to our State and expressed concern that the BJP and RSS ideology had been diluted.
After all those midnight unprincipled defectors joining, the BJP in Goa has been infact transformed into a sorpatel (motley medley) which the RSS is understandably finding it very difficult to digest.
The visiting official also reportedly summoned Deputy Chief Minister Babu Kavlekar, two other Ministers and Panaji MLA Babush Monserrate at the RSS office in Panaji and during individual meetings with them, questioned their demand of party tickets for their spouses.
It is now more than evident that the headquarters of the BJP are in Nagpur and that the party is an utter misfit in a secular Goa. The bitter truth stands exposed.
