Congress is a ship without a sail

The BJP leaders should be congratulated for successfully helping their party-backed candidates to get elected in the Zilla Panchayat elections by splitting the secular votes. Also, the elections were held in a hurry despite the pandemic. The main opposition party namely, Congress, as expectedly, was fully decimated and could manage to win just four seats out of 37, which it had contested. This itself clearly shows that the Congress party is not run by sincere honest party workers but a bunch of clueless opportunists leaders, if not some BJP symphatisers-cum-traitors. Otherwise, how come they could not pacify or bring out their supporters to vote for their party-backed candidates, unlike the BJP leaders who successfully managed to bring out their supporters in huge numbers to vote and to help most of their own party-backed candidates to win comfortably?

Looks like Congress has indeed become like a big liability, an orphan party having no father or mother. It is practically heading nowhere just like a ship without a sail. The Congress party therefore definitely needs to be disbanded at the very earliest if Goans seriously want to liberate themselves and defeat a communal party like the BJP in the future.
