Privatise loss-making PSUs, corporations

The Karnataka RTC strike has caused severe inconvenience to the commuters and loss to the corporation. The striking employees should realise that their salaries come from the daily revenue earned by selling bus tickets, monthly and daily passes to the commuters. What if the employees of all the PSU and corporations demand to bring them on par with government employees. All four corporations are reeling under huge losses. If the government considers their demands then remaining corporations and PSU employees will demand government employee status which is basically wrong and unprincipled. The government should take stringent action against the employees who go on strike for every issue and put commuters to hardships. The best remedy for this strike by transport staff would be to privatise the KSRTC and other loss-making corporations to save public tax money from being squandered on these unruly staff. The concept of a strike in our country has to change. All strikes are oriented towards stopping works and production.
