Do not fall into politicians' pre-poll trap of free water

First of all let me clarify the misunderstanding of the people of Goa who think that water is free in Goa. The individual domestic consumers consuming water upto 16m3 per month will be exempted from payment of water charges including meter rent as of September 1. Domestic consumers consuming more than 16m3 per month will be billed as per applicable tariff for their entire water consumption. Now to get free water we have to use the water wisely. If we misuse water we will suffer for water specially in the month of April and May. Today the petrol price in the market has reached Rs 100 per litre and LPG cylinder is hiked twice in 15 days by Rs 25, so it is costing us around Rs 899. This is a political game the politicians play before the elections. Give from one hand freebies and from the other hand take our money from cost of essentials. Hope the people of Goa use the water wisely and do not fall into the trap of dirty political parties.
