Nuvemkars want to know from their MLA why he failed them in Assembly (The Goan Everyday, February 1, 2021). The citizens of this country are finally demanding answers from their elected representatives? The people from Nuvem constituency seem to be leading the way. Wouldn't it be fair that elected representatives should be made accountable to the people who elect them? We should be looking at the possibility of what is called 'recall' of our representatives if they fail to do what people want and switch over to another party during their term in office. After all in a democracy, a government is of the people, for the people and by the people.
