Hike in power tariff by Dhavalikar is unjust

Newly elected Power Minister Sudin Dhavalikar has now reportedly decided to hike power tariff from 5 to 10 paisa per unit for domestic connections and upto 40 paise per unit for commercial connections giving further shock to Goans despite failing to provide uninterrupted power supply. Looks like Dhavalikar wants to somehow enjoy his own ‘achhe din’ by unnecessarily supporting this latest power tariff hike.

If the current ruling BJP government does not have the money to fund its numerous schemes then it should immediately discontinue them and also stop giving freebies to all the elected politicians and their family members for travel, health etc. Please stop unnecessary and frequent unjustified hikes.
